A Week in Book PR – our clients in the media

June 27 2018

All the book PR highlights from the team at The Book Publicist

Another busy week at The Book Publicist with our amazing authors and founders being featured across national newspapers, websites, radio and top business and lifestyle magazines sharing their expertise on a huge range of topics in the media. Book publicity highlights include: Amid the buzz of the World Cup kicking off, former football player Kevin George has been promoting his new book Soccology and was featured in the Daily Express sharing his insight about the mind-set of the England team as they get off to a good start in the game. Shortlist ran a feature, with Kevin George discussing stress management and players’ mentality in football. He also appeared in an interview on BBC Radio and has features with the Daily Star and ITN lined up for the coming week. The lovely Dina Glouberman, author of Into the Woods and Out Again, appeared in a double page spread in the Daily Mail (also online too!) discussing her devastating career burnout and how it ultimately saved her life. Featured in the Telegraph, Lucy Smith (founder of Digital Marketing for Graduates) gave readers her top tips on how to successfully start-up in tech. It’s been a good week for the Pearly White Club, with their eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes being featured in Stylist’s 30 little pick me ups. These sustainable toothbrushes also appeared in Health & Wellbeing Magazine’s top picks, with their deputy editor trialling and testing the product, as well as OM Yoga Magazine running a feature on them, encouraging readers to ditch the plastic. It was great to see a full-page article by Siddharth Shankar, CEO of Tails Trading, in the Business Leader sharing his expertise on how businesses can successfully expand and develop through exporting to Thailand. Our new client Dr. Simon Hayward, author of The Agile Leader, appeared in Real Business discussing how agility is hugely important to the development and sustainability of a business in the digital age. The inspirational Sophie Sabbage, author of new book Lifeshocks (published by Hodder), was featured in a full-page spread in The Weekly News where she talks about learning to love the unexpected and often unwanted moments in life and using them to create new opportunities. We can’t wait to see what next week has in store…
