A Week in Book PR

July 02 2018

Our fantastic clients shining in the media - from TV screens to newspapers

What a way to end the month – our authors and founders popped up across TV, national newspapers, magazines and websites throughout last week, along with top business and lifestyle publications. And what a brilliant bunch – providing viewers and readers with their expert knowledge and invaluable advice. Book publicity highlights include: With the World Cup the hottest topic of the month, former footballer Kevin George was interviewed on ITN London news on Friday night. He was also featured in the Daily Star, using his new book Soccology to comment upon how England players will thrive in the World Cup games this year. The amazing Dani Binnington, founder of www.healthywholeme.com/, was featured in Women’s Health magazine sharing her powerful personal story and helping readers to follow in her footsteps in forming a healthy relationship with food. Featured in an interview for Reader’s Digest, Doctor of Happiness Andy Cope spoke out about all things happy and how to shake off grumpiness in everyday life. Because we all have one of those days now and again! The inspirational Sophie Sabbage, author of Lifeshocks and How to Love Them, was in the Irish Times (a full-page article, don’t you know!), sharing her insightful thoughts on the moments in life we cannot predict, control or plan for. It’s been another great week for the Pearly White Club. With plastic-free July about to go off with a bang, they were featured in Veggie magazine encouraging readers to cut down on plastic waste by using eco-friendly toothbrushes. Their innovative toothbrushes were also included in the Independent’s 6 best bamboo toothbrushes to buy, as well as in In the Moment Magazine – showing how to easily go plastic free. Sarah Bladen, author of Practical Zen, wrote a brilliant 4-page feature in In the Moment Magazine  about how she found zen amongst the spectacular beaches, forests and peaceful retreats of beautiful Bali (and yes, we are 100% green with envy). It was great to see Henriette Kress, author of Practical Herbs, featured in a double-page spread in the Telegraph, providing readers with tips and tricks on how to use herbs for wellness. The eagle-eyed amongst you might also have spotted Henriette in Glamour magazine, sharing her insight on how herbs can be incorporated in to beauty remedies and routines. In a full-page interview with the Jewish Telegraph, David Joland (author of new book The Biggest Idea in the World) discussed his time as a businessman and investor, the business of writing and his love for comedy. Last but by no means least, the author of The Power of Company Culture, Chris Dyer appeared in Raconteur sharing his expertise on how engagement can be maintained when exporting company culture. Phew – between the heatwave and another exciting week of coverage, The Book Publicist HQ is rather over-heating this week!
