Book PR campaign launches for new Kogan Page book, Cyber Wars: Hacks that shocked the business world
This month we’re super excited to be sponsoring Jo Malone’s event at Hay Festival of Literature & the Arts, which runs from 25 May to 4 June 2017.
Jo Malone has created a globally renowned fragrance and beauty business and, more recently, her new brand Jo Loves. In the event at Hay Festival, she’ll be talking about her incredible journey from modest beginnings as a teenager struggling with dyslexia and leaving school with no qualifications, to being diagnosed with breast cancer at 37 and becoming an international brand name and one of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs.
Many of the books we work on at The Book Publicist relate to entrepreneurship, start-ups and techniques to gain a head start in business. But there’s no magic formula for success against adversity, which is why we’re proud to support a woman who has achieved so much despite the odds. It’s also a great feeling to sponsor a small part of a festival with such big ideas. Hay Festival brings together writers from around the world to debate and share stories, celebrating great writing from poets and scientists, lyricists and comedians, novelists and environmentalists, as well as the power of great ideas to transform our way of thinking.
