The Book Publicist implemented a successful book PR campaign in the US for the new book by psychologist Dr Janina Scarlet. The campaign was for the US launch of the ground-breaking new book Therapy Quest, which takes a unique approach to self-help by immersing the reader in a fantasy world where they are at the centre of the story.
This is our second media campaign for the author, Janina Scarlet, having managed the book PR for Therapy Quest’s UK launch in 2018 which achieved extensive coverage over 34 features, including BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live, Grazia, The Sunday Express and Vice. Janina was so impressed that she appointed us for the US launch of the book too. We achieved our set brief to generate high-profile publicity which profiled Janina and her new book to the US lifestyle and news media. This included book features, but also interview and comment pieces for the author to build her professional profile and business brand.
The campaign achieved 36 pieces of publicity, reaching a total audience of over 4.97 billion. Media highlights for this successful campaign included large features and interviews in top tier publications including Forbes, BuzzFeed, CNET, Business Insider, Newsweek, Women’s Health, U.S. News, HelloGiggles and Well+Good. We were delighted to have such a positive response to our first US campaign and to be able to build Janina’s global profile.
