Author of Happy Economics

Happiness at work matters. But what does happiness mean? How can managers measure it and create more of it? And what happens to organizations when they get happiness right?

In Happy Economics, author Mark Price clearly demonstrates the business opportunity behind investing in our happiness. Using anecdotes from his 40+ years in corporate leadership roles – including serving as the former MD of Waitrose and Deputy Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership – as well as real-world examples of organisations who have got it right, this book explains the economic, cultural and societal benefits of happiness, and instructs leaders on how to build happy organisations, recruit happy employees, and drive growth with an engagement plan that can be implemented by any business.
