The Book Publicist has been appointed by The Institute for Management Development (IMD) to handle the PR for new book, The Right Place.
The Right Place is the brainchild of Professor Arturo Bris, who is Professor of Finance at IMD and Director of the IMD World Competitiveness Center. In the book, he argues that 80% of a company’s results are determined by the country it is located in, rather than the company’s leaders or strategy and how national competitiveness can make or break a business.
The timing of this book could not be more perfect. It’s a book about hope and a call to action to make the world the kind of place we want to live in.
Creating the World We Want to Live In challenges long-held beliefs and ideologies about the way the world works and the people in that world. Weaving together the latest well-being science with accessible stories of hope, it offers a blueprint of what works to create flourishing lives and communities.
We are delighted to be helping spread the word. This is a book which covers all the bases – so we’re promoting it to nationals, business, education, parenting press and so many more.
The unique collective of authors are experts and practitioners in positive psychology and leaders in their respective fields. Together they have created an optimistic vision for a world that would work for everyone.

We’re thrilled to be working with leading global voice on mental fitness Jodie Rogers. Jodie works with the world’s leading businesses - Unilever, Coca-Cola, L’Oréal, Mondelez, and many more - helping them benefit from the opportunities of mental fitness rather than the costs of ill health amongst their workforce.

the bottom line, but also includes a case study on Unilever and the results they achieved when they trained 300 people to be ‘Mentally Fit’.
This important and innovative book is not about fixing things once they go wrong – but about the things we can do to build and maintain peak mental fitness.

We’re delighted to have been appointed by IMD Business School to promote game-changing new book The Customer Copernicus: How to be Customer-Led (Routledge) by world-leading IMD Professor Seán Meehan and founder of pioneering customer-led consultancy Charlie Dawson.
Customers, not CEOs, decide whether companies succeed – so why is being truly customer-led still so elusive?
Packed with compelling case studies and based on decades of research and practice, The Customer Copernicus reveals how to transform an ordinary business into a customer-led success.
It explores how some companies are great for customers – think of Amazon, EasyJet and Sky. They make things easier and improve what really matters – obvious, surely? They have also enjoyed huge business success.
But, if it’s obvious and attractive, why is it so rare? And why, having mastered it, would you ever stop? Tesco, O2 and Wells Fargo were like this once. Because all three stopped, and two ended up in court…
To set up an interview with Seán Meehan and Charlie Dawson or to see a review copy please contact Emma (firstname.lastname@example.org)

It provides a robust 4 step framework to enable senior leaders to protect and grow value in their business in a volatile world.

We are delighted to share the huge success for our latest book PR campaign for The Model Manifesto by Leanne Maskell (published by Practical Inspiration). The campaign secured 4 TV interviews, 6 national newspaper features, front page of The Times, and numerous features on BBC radio and in national magazines.
The Model Manifesto (02 May 2019), is an A-Z anti-exploitation manual for the fashion industry. Written by ex-Vogue model Leanne Maskell. This candid book reveals the secret side to modelling and aims to empower and protect models from financial, physical and emotional exploitation.
Congratulations to Leanne for her eye-opening interview on ITV’s Lorraine, which saw the book shoot to #1 Fashion Book on Amazon. We were especially thrilled with the double page interview in the Times where Leanne was the front cover for their supplement T2 and was even photographed on the front page of the Times.
Other media outlets which covered her amazing story include Independent, Grazia, The Sun (several times), The Daily Mail (several times), The Express, BBC Birmingham news, numerous BBC radio shows and The Week.
We will continue to watch this campaign thrive with interviews still to come on BBC London News TV and Victoria Derbyshire show.
We are thrilled to have worked on this important book campaign with author Leanne Maskell and the team at Practical Inspiration to publicise this powerful book.
Leanne Maskell shared her thoughts on the campaign: “The Book Publicist has provided opportunities for my book, ‘The Model Manifesto’, that have been above and beyond my wildest dreams. I would never in a million years have predicted that the book could be featured on the front page of The Times, on the Lorraine show and the BBC News, yet this has all happened and more in the short space of 6 weeks. The team are extremely talented, genuine and dedicated and they work very hard to achieve the best results possible. Their efforts led to the book being featured as an Amazon top seller following a live interview on ITV. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for PR!”
Alison Jones, director at Practical Inspiration Publishing shared her experience: “We’ve been delighted with the quality and quantity of coverage that TBP’s team secured for The Model Manifesto, but what’s been just as important as the coverage itself is the way the team have liaised with us and with the author. They’ve kept us fully updated, even when schedules changed at short notice, and were unfailingly prompt, polite and cheerful in their requests and administrative details. Coordinating PR with all other in-house marketing can be challenging, so these open lines of communication are essential.”

We are thrilled to be managing the publicity for an important book which calls for the urgent need to implement sustainability programs with increasing direction and speed.
At a time when CO2 levels and average temperatures have reached the highest levels in 650,000 years, the issue of sustainability has been prioritised by most governments and many businesses. However, contrary to any optimism created by ambitious global targets set in the Paris Climate Agreement, the reality is that implementation of most corporate sustainability programmes to date has been slow at best, and ineffective at worst.
Winning Sustainability Strategies by Benoir Leleux and Jan van der Kaaij, features real business sustainability stories, including those of DSM, Unilever, Umicore, Novozymes, Patagonia and more. The case studies help to demonstrate how the strategies can be implemented in practice, and result in a successful company which is both sustainable and profitable.
We see huge potential for this PR campaign – it has never been more urgent to implement sustainability strategies. One of the key points of the campaign will be sharing the powerful research in the book, giving business leaders the tools they need to achieve purpose with profit.
For further information, an interview with Benoit Leleux or Jan van der Kaaij, a guest article or a review copy of Winning Sustainability Strategies, please contact:

This fascinating new title from Paul Hargreaves provides advice to start-ups who want to run their business ethically. We are thrilled to have been selected to manage the PR campaign for such an inspiring thinker.
Paul Hargreaves is the Chief Executive of Cotswold Fayre Ltd, striving to meet the highest standards of overall social and environmental performance in the UK.
In Forces For Good, Paul candidly shares his own entrepreneurial journey of building a purpose-driven company. He reveals lessons and insights, from the realisation of how he could have more impact on the world through business than charitable work, to hiring his first five staff members, including an ex-convict, an alcoholic and an ex-drug addict, to how he managed to save the company from the brink of collapse. The book is packed with insightful real-life accounts along with practical advice for anyone wanting to create a purpose-driven business.
We’re so excited to be managing the book publicity and pitching to the broadcast media, book reviewers, business press and national features writers to offer book reviews, interviews, guest articles and expert comment.

Blockchain is the game-changing technology that has the potential to disrupt markets and save businesses billions in costs every year. With IT giants, tech evangelists, libertarian entrepreneurs and financial organisations all hustling to be the main purveyors in a future cashless world, it remains misunderstood by many organisations and business leaders.
Blockchain Babel combines academic research with management strategy, to create a sober, eye-opening, and actionable guide to blockchain, exploring how the blockchain goldrush will change our world.
Igor Pejic is a former business journalist and is currently the Head of Marketing at BNP Paribas PF AT, regularly commenting on payments, transactions and the blockchain in the media. He was voted by McKinsey and the Financial Times as one of three finalists in the Bracken Bower Prize for his work on blockchain in 2016.
We can’t wait to manage the publicity for Blockchain Babel, pitching to the broadcast media, book reviewers, national features writers, business and managment press to offer book reviews, interviews, guest articles and expert comment.

We are delighted to have been appointed as the book PR agency for important new business and self-development book: 7 Skills for the Future written by Emma-Sue Prince and published by Pearson.
Packed full of practical exercises and case studies to provide context, the book examines each of the seven skills in turn - what it is, why it matters and how to develop it:
Adaptability – say ‘yes’ to life, embrace change and expand your comfort zone
Critical Thinking – handle information overload, problem solve and make better decisions
Empathy – put that smart phone down, really listen and build strong relationships
Integrity – keep promises, be authentic and generate trust
Optimism – practice positive psychology and choose to look for opportunities when setbacks arise
Being Proactive – take control. Focus efforts and energy on the things that matter
Resilience – so much more than ‘bouncing back’. Shift perceptions, change habitual responses and really grow.
These 7 soft skills will increase readers self-awareness, prepare them for any situation and help them ‘future-proof’ their working lives.
For this book PR campaign and aim to target both business media and mainstream media with a hard-hitting campaign to generate national broadcast interviews, book reviews, thought-leader articles, practical advice articles as well as author profiling opportunities.
