NEW CLIENT: Lord Mark Price
At The Book Publicist, we’re delighted to be working with Lord Mark Price on his latest book, Work Happier: How To Be Happy & Successful at Work.
Happiness at work is more than a nice-to-have - it’s a business imperative. Research from Oxford University shows that happier employees are 13% more productive. Workplace happiness is also closely tied to mental and emotional wellbeing, with engaged, supported, and valued employees less likely to experience stress, disengagement, or burnout. For Gen Z, workplace satisfaction is particularly critical, with 70% saying they would leave a job if they were unhappy.
Drawing on decades of leadership experience and insights from over one million people globally who have taken the WorkL Happy at Work test, Mark offers a practical, motivational framework to transform work life. His book argues that workplace wellbeing shouldn’t be a perk—it should be a right.
At the heart of Work Happier is the Work Happiness Charter, which sets out ten rights and ten responsibilities everyone should expect and uphold at work. From the right to be recognised and respected to the responsibility to show up with effort and honesty, the Charter is backed by global research, employee surveys, and thousands of case studies conducted through WorkL, Mark’s workplace happiness platform.
Whether you’re an employee seeking more fulfilment or a leader striving to build a thriving team, Work Happier equips readers to:
- Understand their own happiness drivers
- Improve their current role or make a positive change
- Measure workplace happiness across six pillars, from recognition to wellbeing
- Build a culture of respect, autonomy, and pride
Mark emphasises that happiness at work is a two-way street: “Employers must create a supportive environment, but individuals must take responsibility and play the starring role in nurturing their own sense of fulfilment.” His accessible guide is relevant to anyone at any level in any organisation—from the boardroom to the shop floor.

NEW CLIENT: Dr Marc Picot
We’re thrilled to be working with Dr Marc Picot on his new book, The Last Puff: A Practical Guide to Quitting Vaping for Good. Emma Preece, Tom Opper, and Natalie Connors will be leading the campaign, so do get in touch for tips, advice, or to hear Marc’s own incredible story.
Vaping is on the rise, with over one million people in England now vaping despite not being regular smokers – a six-fold increase in just three years. The Last Puff provides a science-backed, practical roadmap to help anyone break free from nicotine addiction for good. Drawing on lived experience and professional expertise, Marc shares step-by-step guidance for managing cravings, understanding the myths and facts, and using behavioural strategies to shift habits.
Marc is a qualified GP, accredited health coach, and former vaper who knows first-hand how difficult it can be to quit. After using vaping as a last resort to manage a side effect from depression medication, he found himself addicted and unable to find support. His personal journey inspired him to help others avoid the same struggle.
From the creator of the Vape Escape app, Marc equips readers with the tools they need to get through withdrawal, connect with the right support, and ultimately quit vaping for good. The book is for anyone who has tried to quit but doesn’t know how, offering guidance, encouragement, and a clear path forward.
For interviews, guest articles, or review copies, contact: Natalie Connors or Tom Opper and they will be happy to help.
NEW CLIENT: Fay Niewiadomski
The Book Publicist is delighted to be appointed by Fay Niewiadomski to promote her debut book, Decisions That Matter: Rethink, Reimagine and Reset Your Life.

In Decisions That Matter, Fay invites readers to pause, reflect, and examine the deeper meaning of personal decisions, identity, and legacy. The book blends storytelling, personal reflection, and practical insight to help readers differentiate between everyday choices and pivotal decisions—the moments that truly shape the direction of our lives.
Through her writing, Fay encourages readers to question life patterns, explore unconscious scripts, and make conscious choices that align with their values. Her message is clear: leadership, like life, isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about asking the right questions and choosing differently when it matters most.
Amy Purnell and Rhian Pearson from The Book Publicist team are excited to kick off this campaign and help share Fay’s extraordinary ideas with leaders, readers, and changemakers worldwide.
Decisions That Matter is more than a book—it’s a guide to rethinking, reimagining, and resetting your life.
